Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Truedon Digital Solutions, Kenya (“we”, “us”), the provider of the AI Chat Exporter browser extension, its Premium plans and the website aichatexporter.website (together, “the Service”). By installing the extension, buying a plan or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What AI Chat Exporter does

AI Chat Exporter lets you save, export, organise and move conversations you have with AI services such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. The extension works inside your browser with the accounts you are already signed in to. It is not made by, endorsed by or connected to any of those AI services. Their names are used only to describe compatibility.

2. Free and Premium

  • The free version can be used without an account or payment.
  • Premium adds extra features and is sold as a monthly plan, a yearly plan or a one-time lifetime licence, at the prices shown on our pricing page when you buy.
  • A licence is for one person and may be used on up to 5 devices at the same time. You can remove a device in the extension settings to use another one.
  • Do not share, resell or publish your licence key. We may cancel keys that are shared publicly or used on more devices than allowed.

3. Payments and renewals

  • Payments are handled by Pesapal. Prices are set in US dollars; Pesapal may show and charge the amount in your local currency, and your bank or mobile money provider may add its own fees or exchange rate.
  • A monthly plan gives one month of Premium and a yearly plan gives one year, from the payment date.
  • Automatic renewal is your choice. If you pay by Visa or Mastercard, Pesapal’s payment page lets you choose automatic renewal. If you do, Pesapal charges the same plan again at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel automatic renewal through Pesapal or by contacting us before the next renewal date. Mobile money payments do not renew automatically: you renew by paying again from the extension.
  • A lifetime licence gives Premium for as long as we offer AI Chat Exporter, with no further payments.
  • When a monthly or yearly plan ends, the free features keep working and everything you have exported stays yours. Premium features lock until you renew.

4. No refunds

Premium is a digital product. Your licence key is delivered and Premium is unlocked immediately after payment, and access cannot be taken back once given. For this reason all payments are final and not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. Please use the free version first to check that the extension works with the AI sites you use.

If you were charged twice for the same order or paid but did not receive a key, contact us and we will fix it.

5. Your content and your accounts

  • Your chats, prompts and files belong to you (or to whoever owns them under your agreement with the AI service). We do not claim any rights to them and we do not receive them. See our privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for following the terms of the AI services you use, including any rules about exporting or sharing their content, and for what you do with the files you export.
  • The extension uses your existing sign-in on each AI site. Keep your accounts and devices secure.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • export, collect or share other people’s conversations or personal data without permission;
  • try to get around licence checks, share licence keys, or copy, resell or redistribute Premium features;
  • attack, overload or try to break into our servers or the AI services.

7. Changes to the AI sites and to the Service

AI services change their websites often, and a change can stop an export from working until we update the extension. We work to fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise that every feature will work with every AI site at all times. We may add, change or remove features, and we will try not to remove features from the Premium plans you have paid for during the paid period.

8. The Service is provided “as is”

We work hard to make AI Chat Exporter reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copies of anything important. We do not guarantee that exports will be complete or error-free, and the export check report is a help, not a guarantee.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Ending the Service

You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the extension. We may suspend or cancel a licence that breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering AI Chat Exporter, the extension’s free features will keep working on your device as long as your browser and the AI sites allow it.

11. Third-party software

AI Chat Exporter includes open-source software, used under its own licences. Those licences are listed with the extension’s source code.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Kenya, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
